SHAKE IT OFF: Stand firm on God's Promises

The truth is, every once in a while, in life, and sometimes unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective, we get shaken by problems. A number of you, probably many of you today are shaken by problems that you're facing. Maybe not as severe as the church in Thessalonica, but they're shaking nonetheless and in the midst of that, you can kind of feel like life is dumping on you

God has given us the capacity, in his promises, in his Word, in his salvation, in his love to help us to be able to shake it off and step up in the midst of problems. That's something that's a challenge sometimes: you want to give up sometimes, you want to quit sometimes, you want to lay down all those things would have killed that donkey, and sometimes it kills us when we collapse under the weight of the problems.

But when those problems keep pounding on your back and they keep coming from above or wherever, you're not even sure where they're coming from, one of the principles in scripture is that He gives us the power to shake it off, and to actually allow those problems to become the very form of transformation that we need to be delivered.
