You Can't Fake Christianity
Enjoy this short clip from a sermon pastor Bob Hallman delivered July 24, 2016 titled "The Evidence of True Christianity"
The evidence of True Christianity because, even though Paul is talking about the people and he's talking about his own life, and he's talking about a path in the midst of that, he gives us the characteristics of true Christianity
You can't fake Christianity. If you are truly born again, it's the only possible way of actually living what Paul is going to describe, and what we're going to study today. You can't fake this stuff; you can't maintain it. you can be really loving for a short period of time under the right circumstances, but you cannot maintain agape love outside of the power of a transformed life by God.
All the things that we discuss, and these four items that we're going to kind of cover this morning are only possible because of Christ. Which means that one of the greatest pieces of evidence of a truly born-again person is a transformed life.
Not just simply what we say, but the life that we lead and the life that we live. So, Paul begins in verse three by talking about his thankful heart.

God invites us to the greatest Mission of all time—to make disciples! Discipleship can be casually defined as “Friendship with a Purpose”. It involves coming alongside another believer and walking with him/her and purposefully helping them grow. Jesus’ last words before ascending to Heaven was “to go and make disciples”
