The church is being shaken by compromise. In 1 Peter, chapter 4, verse 17, there's a very powerful verse that peter says prophetically. He says, in the last days God is going to not only shake the nations, but he is also going to shake the church, and he says judgment will actually come to the church first before it comes to the nations.
