Christian Fundamentals | Standing Strong Part I
God has poured out incredible blessings on the church, the Bride of Christ.
He has given us new life. He's adopted us as his sons and daughters. He's given us great and precious promises. He's invested in us and in dwelled us by His Holy Spirit, he seated us in the heavenly realms with Christ at the right hand of God the Father and he gives us an inheritance that the Bible says will never perish, spoil, or fade and it's kept in heaven for us, and it's guarded by the Spirit of God.
We have a lot to look forward to. We are enjoying great treasure right now more than that he's told us that a kingdom is coming, and he is going to be the king of that new kingdom, and that realm is made up of a people called the Bride of Christ who are the citizens of that kingdom. We are that citizenry, but the realm is yet to come.
We've got the king; we've got the citizenry, we're waiting for the realm, and that will occur when Jesus Christ returns, and he establishes a new heaven and a new earth and reigns and rules with the Saints for eternity.
