End Of Time? Not Yet | Bob's Bible Bytes | 2 Thessalonians 2:3-17
In 2 Thessalonians, Paul has written to this particular church, the first church in Asia minor and it's facing a lot of persecution.
They are on their own after only three Sabbaths of Paul's teaching. Paul was run out of town and he's writing these letters as follow-ups to that initial visit and the planting of this church, and in the midst of that, he's explaining them to them in greater clarity the events of the last times.
The message prior to this one, we studied in chapter two of second Thessalonians, verses 1 through 12, and we were introduced to the antichrist, this man of lawlessness and we are seeing a picture of what the church is NOT going to be experiencing, but what the world will face after the rapture of the church.
Paul is laying out a very severe, a very challenging, and a very frightening period of time in human history that's coming upon the earth, but he's encouraging them that time has not yet come.
