Meet Dr. Charles Kim

I'd like to introduce you to my new friend and surgeon, Dr. Charles Kim. He's a great guy, a very skilled surgeon and a committed Christian! Tomorrow at 11 am, he and his team will be performing my robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy at Pali Momi Medical Center on Oahu.

On the eve of my surgery I have absolute peace and joy, which I attribute to the sustaining love and grace of God in answer to the prayers of all of you, His loving sons and daughters! I wish I had time to share how God is using my cancer to reveal the content of my own faith, strengthen and encourage believers near and far, communicate the gospel to new and old friends and advance His kingdom in surprising and unexpected ways! So many open doors and opportunities -- nothing is ever wasted with God!

And for those of you who have expressed a desire to bless Becky and me in some way, here's my request: Keep on loving God, loving each other and making disciples! God has called us, commissioned us and is using us, individually and corporately, as His Bride to fulfill His will and to advance His Kingdom! Satan hates it, but God loves it and will reward each and every act of obedience and service done in His name and for His glory!
