This is NOT our Home!

The Bible describes us: we're like aliens and strangers walking through this earth. This isn't our home and because this isn't our home, and understand that, and that it's not going to last, we can look forward, we're still working here, we're still serving here, but we're looking forward to the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ and that sets my heart free.

I have to remind myself. That's why I have got to go back to the Bible every day in my quiet times, and I'm like oh yeah, oh yeah, this is not the focus, this life is not the end. All of my existence and my future is bound and secured and safeguarded by Christ and because of that, I can live fully for Christ, I can be others centered, I can live a thankful life, I can walk my faith, I can love people without condition. Why? Because I know I'm safe. I know the end of the story; I know where I'm going, and you do too.
